World Tour in Manilla, 1913

The World Tourist are seen on the field in Manilla, The Phillipines prior to their game there on December 17, 1913. The U.S. troops there had been given the day off to attend them game and many of them can be seen in the stands.

The scene before us is the opening speech given by the commanding general, General J. Franklin Bell, in his pristine white suit can be seen at center. Hans Lobert is seen striding over the baseline
