This image is of Joe Harris of the Boston Americans circa 1905. Harris had a lifetime record of 3-30, making his one of the worst won/loss percentages for a career in Major League history.
The photo is by Louis Van Oeyen and likely bears his handwriting on back. Interestingly it has a Paul Thompson on back as well. Thompson did not start his agency, The Article Syndicate Inc. until late 1908. He likely acquired this print and placed his stamp on back in 1908 or later.
