Fascinating 1905 postcard showing the Middletown, New York Asylum baseball team when they played a “reunion” game with the Cuban X Giants. Hall of Fame Pitcher Jack Chesbro had worked at the hospital and returned to pitch in this game. He is seen here in his New York Highlanders uniform. Chesbro was just a year removed from his 41 win year for the Highlanders in 1904.
