One of the earliest of images of Honus Wagner on the field in a solo shot. This image dates to 1902 or 1903 based on the multi-striped shirt and socks. It was taken at Washington Park in Brooklyn. Note the building behind the grandstand in the known 1901 image below, in particular the triangular jutting piece of decorative trim at the top left of the building, a match for our photo.
