Harry Steinfeldt, c. 1908-1909 by Francis P. Burke, E-90-3 image

Harry Steinfeldt circa 1908-1909 as shot by Francis P. Burke of Burke & Atwell. This image was taken in the West Side Grounds in Chicago, home of the Cubs. Burke is one of the most unappreciated great Deadball photographers. He was a master of capturing the fluidity of players in action.

We know it is a Burke photo based on another known copy with the Burke & Atwell stamp on back.

This image was used to create Steinfeldt’s E90-3 card image.
